12 injured in Lancaster bus crash

One person has been seriously injured and 12 others hurt after a smash between a double-decker bus and a lorry in Lancashire.
The accident, involving a Stagecoach bus and wagon, happened at 11am on Thursday at a bus stop close to the Pointer roundabout on the A6 just south of Lancaster.

The road remained closed at 12.15pm.

A police spokesman said one person suffered a serious injury and there were 12 “walking wounded
