Woman in hospital after taxi crash
A woman was taken to hospital after a taxi careered down an embankment in a car accident.
The taxi left the M6 northbound near the junction 34 sliproad at 2.55am on Sunday.
A female passenger involved in the road traffic accident was cut free by firefighters and was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary with leg and arm injuries.
The taxi driver and another woman passenger were not thought to be seriously injured.
