London firm fined £50,000 after accident at work - employee suffered crushing injury.
The case related to an accident at work in June 2005 at the firm’s distribution centre in Milton Keynes, where an employee suffered a fatal injury after being crushed between a one-tonne roll of paper and a paper-slitting machine.
London-based firm was fined £75,000 after admitting a breach of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, although this was reduced to £50,000 in light of its earlier plea.
