Falling radiators crushed man's legs

A worker suffered two broken legs in the accident at 4Ls Products Ltd, in Armthorpe.

The warehouse based on West Moor Park was used for stacking radiators on pallets.

Before Mr Debenham's injuries the protocol in the warehouse was to stack radiators four pallets high with ten radiators on each pallet.

In 2008 the number of radiators stacked on each pallet was increased by the supplier from ten to 14.

At around 1am on June 26 last year one stack became unstable and collapsed, bringing down with it a second column of radiators.

More than 120 panel radiators tumbled on to the warehouse floor, resulting in the injuries suffered by Mr Debenham.
